Wedding Wednesday… Natasha & Dave

Natasha and Dave’s wedding day was the perfect definition of relaxed elegance.  Set on the pristine grounds of Chamard Vineyards, Natasha and Dave’s big day was filled with charming details and and a soothing color palette. The color palette consisted of dreamy purples, periwinkle and ivory which blended effortlessly with the breathtaking grounds. The ceremony took place out in the vines, surrounded by the serenity of the vineyard. After the ceremony, guests were treated to a reception under the gorgeous sail cloth tent. We brought in farmhouse tables, periwinkle colored linens, dark wood chivari chairs and farm tables to set the tone for the elegant reception. Fun details, such as the Kagami-biraki ceremony, the breaking of the sake barrel to signify harmony and good fortune, really made the party feel so personal and memorable. The entire night was such a joy to be a part of and was captured so wonderfully by Anna Sawin Photography. Congrats to the happy couple!

Wedding Wednesday… Featured: Style Me Pretty – Becky & Patrick’s Wedding

We are so honored to have Becky and Patrick’s amazing wedding featured on Style Me Pretty! Head over here to check out all the details in the brides’ words. It was such a fun wedding for us and we are so thrilled for Becky and Patrick!

Becky and Patrick’s wedding was one for the books, not only because they were such a fun couple to work with, but also because it was set at one of our favorite venues, The State Room in Boston. Everywhere the guests turned, they were treated to breathtaking views of the city from the floor to ceiling windows spanning the entire room. From the intimate ceremony surrounded by candlelight to the gorgeous wedding reception following, the lovely details couldn’t be missed! A wintery color palette of deep red, burgundy, purple and pink was incorporated throughout the wedding details, from the bridesmaids’ and bridal bouquets to the lush centerpieces. We loved the idea of using mirrors for the program, menu and drink signs; they reflected the candlelight and Boston skyline perfectly and added to the simple elegance the couple loved. Becky and Patrick looked absolutely stunning and looked like they were enjoying every last second. Congrats to the happy couple!

Wedding Wednesday… Tobey and Christian

Tobey and Christian’s wedding was one of our favorites, not only because it was set at the always charming Ocean House, but also because it was filled to the brim with bright colors and coastal elegance. Everywhere the guests turned, they were treated to bright pops of color and gorgeous coastal New England style. From the beautiful ceremony at Watch Hill Chapel to the fun cocktail and wedding reception following at the Ocean House, the lovely details couldn’t be missed! A color palette of coral, navy and white could be seen throughout the wedding; the bride’s bouquet brimming with vibrant corals, pinks and greens, was topped off with a stripped white and navy ribbon – preppy hearts rejoice! The bridal party looked stunning in their navy dresses with white sashes and the groomsmen looked dapper in their khaki suites and navy ties. Tobey and Christian looked absolutely gorgeous and couldn’t stop smiling the entire day. And who could blame them? They had blue skies, their toes in the sand, and were surrounded by friends and family – what could be better? Congrats to the happy couple!

Wedding Wednesday… Cupid’s Shower

(1/2/3/4/5)

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, all this lovey-dovey inspiration has me dreaming of a Valentine’s themed bridal shower. Seriously, how adorable would that be? You wouldn’t have to have hearts in every corner, necessarily, but it would be fun to use a palette of pinks, reds and gold and throw a party for your favorite bride-to-be! Toast with rose champagne topped with heart stirrers and pair with your favorite chocolate morsels for a festive start to the party. Ask everyone to wear their most romantic/feminine frocks; extra points if they wear pink or red heels! And how cute would it be to give everyone red or pink lipstick and nail polish as a parting favor? Oh please, oh please, oh please, can my next bride-to-be girlfriend jump on this idea? I have just the right pair of heels in mind.

xoxo, Laura
