An approachable blend with aromas of rich, dark fruits and baking spices on the nose, which yield fresh plum, blackberry, violet, dried fig, vanilla bean, and Chinese five-spice. Juicy with plum and blackberry flavors, prominently layered with smoky and sappy maple oak, roasted almonds, and hazelnuts, this wine finishes long with fine, firm tannins. An outstanding value Cabernet Sauvignon; Josh Cellars is known for its elegance and purity; beautiful black fruit flavors with notes of plum and cassis; medium bodied; soft, yet still shows off power
THIS WEDDING. I almost can’t find the words to describe it’s beauty, but I will. Katie and Gui said “I do” on a picture perfect late summer day, with the water set as their backdrop at a private residence in Jamestown, RI. This gorgeous summer wedding gave way to cocktails enjoyed outside on the oceans edge with beautiful blue and white ikat patterned linens. The ambiance was enhanced as dinner and dancing continued under a Sperry tent, rich with lush textures and romantic creams and blushes. The linens on the tables were breathtaking rosettes that mirrored the bottom of the bride’s gown. Guests could take a break from dancing and enjoy a drink and conversation on one of the velvet couches surrounding the dance floor. No detail was left unturned at this romance filled wedding, some of the top details were the perfect shade of purple bed of hydrangeas that the guest cards were placed on, patterned flip flops for the guests tired dancing feet, crystal chandelier hanging from the tent top and the most beautiful flowers from the bouquets to the centerpieces designed by Hana Floral Design. One of our favorite parts of this show-stopping wedding was the stunning sunset that painted the sky pink, the perfect gift for the newlyweds to enjoy on their wedding night! Leila Brewster captured the beauty of this wedding perfectly!
Winter is coming….which means cold weather, snow and ice BUT it also means super festive decor, lights and flannel. If you’re hosting a winter wedding or event I love the idea of implimenting holiday themed details into your design but let’s be honest it can get pretty cheesy fast! I pulled some of my favorite winter details that would add that special touch to your event. I have to be honest, the vintage glass ornaments are my absolute favorite. The different shapes and muted colors keep it chic opposed to overly festive. I also adore the chairs covered in cozy knit throws, the texture it brings to the design is perfection. Lastly, the trees! Do you remember being in school and on Earth Day they’d pass out baby trees you were supposed to plant???? Easily one of my top 5 favorite days of the year. This favor/escort card idea kind of captured that feeling for me and I was sold. Not only are you bringing a little of the organic into your wedding but you’re promoting planting new trees….two birds one stone, what’s better than that? Maybe just cover the green container in linen or a fabric that fits your design and possibly have a calligrapher write your guests names? Swooncentral.
Two words; coastal chic. That’s the perfect way to describe Christine and Matt’s Block Island, R.I. wedding. A clean and classy vibe paired well with the venue and it’s out of the world view. The beauty of the day and all it’s impeccable details were captured perfectly by Tara Sharma Photography. When day gave way to a night full of dancing and fun, guests could also be found roasting s’more around a bonfire. Best wishes to Christine and Matt! We LOVED being part of your big day!
