We are so excited to announce that Natalie and Eric’s wedding is featured on Carats & Cake!

We had the pleasure of working with some of the best vendors the industry has! Natalie and Eric chose to tie the knot at the Ocean House , located in Watch Hill,Rhode Island. Natalie and Eric started their wedding day while getting ready in their luxurious seaside suites sipping on champagne.

As the bride and groom were getting ready, their highly skilled team of vendors began to execute the wedding of their dreams. A gorgeous Sperry Tents, placed on the Ocean Houses’ sprawling lawn looking out over the crashing waves. Ryan Designs installed custom draping and dramatic chandeliers to light up the night. The colors of the evening were inspired by the setting sun. The gold rim china and the mercury votives picked up the colors of the setting sun as guests entered the tent. Hana Floral Design used garlands of greens and simple pops of color to have the sun hit the details perfectly.

Have you been dreaming of planning a destination wedding your whole life? Here at True Event we love working with our clients to plan their dream destination wedding, from the beaches of the Caribbean to the Mountains of California.

Recently, Sarah, True Event’s very own spoke with Brides to give her expert advice to engaged couples planning their own destination weddings.

Sarah’s advice to newly engaged couple’s planning their destination weddings include, giving your guests welcome bags as they arrive for your fun wedding weekend! We find our couple’s guests always love the welcome bags! Providing your guests with transportation is always important, as it takes the stress out of planning ahead in a foreign place, and makes sure all of your guests are safe! Lastly, make sure to plan events for the weekend that include all of the guests attending their wedding.  Most likely they are traveling far distances and they want to see you for more than just a few moments on the big day.

We are so excited to share Meghan & Pete’s wedding featured on Style Me Pretty. Be sure to read the full post here.

Meghan and Pete decided to tie the knot just minutes from Meghan’s childhood home at the Madison Beach Club. Not only had the beach club been a favorite summer time hangout for Meghan, but it was also the very place her oldest brother had tied the knot years before.

True Event worked closely with Meghan and Pete to incorporate their love of family and travel into every detail of their day. They designed the dining room with the setting sun in mind, using pops of sunset colors mixed with natural blues, grey and whites. Details included a vintage type writer where guests were asked to give their well wishes to the newlyweds, personalized lawn games, and handwritten vintage post cards indicating where each guest was to take their seat for the evening.

Cocktail hour took place on the sprawling veranda, with striped table linens from La Tavola Fine Linen Rental to tie in the nautical theme for the evening. Fleurescent added pops of color into the reception centerpieces, the bridal bouquets, and the historic mantle of the beach club.

After cocktail hour, guests headed in to the dimly lit dining room which set the mood for the rest of the evening. Guests enjoyed a four course meal from La Cuisine, where the couple chose to incorporate cuisine from both of their backgrounds, including the traditional Canadian “Nanaimo Bars” for dessert.

To end the evening guests headed out to the beach where they enjoyed a warm fire by the ocean and cozied up to a pile of Mexican blankets on the beach.

We are so excited to announce Liz and Bill’s wedding was featured on Elizabeth Anne Designs Blog! Make sure to see the full post here!

Liz and Bill chose to host their wedding at Jonathan Edwards Winery for its natural beauty. The theme for the evening was black tie while incorporating classic elegance. The ceremony was held in the fields of grapes as the Connecticut sun was setting. With bridesmaids dressed in all silky black dresses, the evening was graceful and elegant.

True Event worked with the couple to execute their black tie design into their big day. They incorporated white linen napkins, white with gold rim china, and classic flatware for their table top decor on their natural farm tables. Hana Floral Design used greenery, blush dahlias, and natural roses for bridal bouquets and the garlands down the center of the farm tables. Every aspect of the evening cohesive with the black tie design. Guests dined on some of  Russell Morin Fine Catering most delectable bites, including sweet treats of miniature donuts to end the evening.
