We are so excited to share Patricia and Evan’s wedding was featured on Carats & Cake!!!

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner can’t help but fall in love with this botanic wedding at the Bronx Botanical Garden from this summer. The main focus when designing the day was to incorporate these key design – elements, eclectic, vintage, romantic and elegant. Getting married at the gardens was the perfect setting for Partricia and Evan to tie the knot. The color palette incorporated organic hues to bring this day together with peach, cream, coral wine, green and gold accents. The Rifle Paper Company paper goods incorporated the botanic essence Patricia was seeking for her big day.

The guest book, a champagne magnum and the glass box for gifts incorporated the touch of elegance the day inspired. With hints of gold throughout the day the space felt like a romantic and intimate space for close family and friends to come together in love. Yumiko of Hana Floral Design, incorporated bright pops of color with coral peonies, blush garden roses which increased the cheer and fun to the space. The head table featured three long tables with enough seating for 22 guests which Hana Floral Design draped a gorgeous greenery and floral runner down the center of the table, the perfect accent to the white table linen.

We are so excited to announce Ariel and Ben’s wedding featured on Over the Moon!

Ariel and Ben were married at the historic mansion, Rosecliff, set on the cliffs of Newport, RI. Ariel had always imaged herself getting married at her favorite childhood destination of Palm Beach, but when they found out two of the most important guests were pregnant they decided to keep their wedding a bit more local. The couple being from New York City, thought Newport with its quant charm, and short distance from the city would be the perfect alternative.

The ceremony took place in the mansions salon with the aisle gently candlelit, giving the space a romantic element for the couple to say their i do’s. After the ceremony guests made their way to the mansions elegant stone terrace, boasting with stationary food displays, including a raw bar from McGrath’s Clambakes and an Asian inspired station provided by Blackstone Catering. As guests enjoy their light bites, they sipped on champagne infused with Rosemary as a nod to the mansions 1920’s history.

Stoneblossom worked effortlessly to bring Ariel’s vision for the reception space to life. Tall floral center pieces added dramatic affect to the round guests tables that surrounded the tuscan style head table in the center of the mansion’s ballroom. The wedding party all dined together at the tuscan table with a floral runner down the center of it. Ariel chose to incorporate a modern aspect in to the design of the place setting with the heirloom smoke chargers from Peak. The gold arrezo flatware added an aspect of traditional elegance to the setting, along with light blue hemstitched napkin, found by Ariel herself. Guests hit the dance floor to the ever so talented Stardust Band after they enjoyed a delicious two course meal from Blackstone Catering.

It was such pleasure working with Ariel and Ben to plan their elegant mansion wedding! Be sure to check out their full wedding onOver the Moon!

We are so honored to announce Abby and Billy’s wedding was featured on the cover of Martha Stewart Weddings.

Working with Abby and Billy for their dream wedding was something out of a fairytale book. Abby being the actress and Billy being the screen play writer was a match made in heaven. The couple met while on set working on the film Sex Ed in New York City. After a year and a half of dating, Billy filled their shared New York apartment with candles and flowers and proposed to Abby and the rest is history!

The couple chose to have their dream wedding at Abby’s parents home in Old Lyme, Connecticut. The ceremony took place at the very church Abby had her first communion, followed by a tented reception at her coastal home.

True Event worked closely with Abby to bring her vivid dream for her day to life. The color palette of the day incorporated deep reds, scarlet and mix shades of blues. The bridal bouquet incorporated deep scarlet garden roses and blue thistles designed by Mar. Floral & Botanicals. The guest tables featured mis matched china and menu cards with gothic style calligraphy designed by Abby’s uncle. Gold mercury votives filled with red garden roses, mixed berries and a mix of deep colored blooms reflected the colors of the day.

Tie That Binds designed the invitation suite which featured a floral print that the couple incorporated throughout their entire day. From the guests escort card to the floral back for guests to snap fun shots throughout the day.
