Inspiration from Anywhere… Lavender Fields

In the bleak midwinter, I like to close my eyes and imagine myself in the middle of a dreamy field of lavender at sunset, without a care in the world. Cheesy? Yes. But oh so true! Lavender is such a calming color (and scent) so why not infuse the pretty hue into your wedding palette. I think a bright yellow and a soft lavender together make for one stunning couple, don’t you? Ah, off to my field of lavender…

Inspiration from Anywhere… Tangerine Tango

I love when the new year comes around and we’re introduced to Pantone’s new color of the year. This year, it’s all about Tangerine Tango! This vibrant hue is easy to love with it’s warm glow and easy color pairing. This would make a happy addition to any wedding color palette, especially if you want a little sunshine in every little detail. And you know I won’t stop you if you want some adorable Tangerine heels accompanying you on your big day!

Inspiration from Anywhere… Flecks of Gold

Just because all the left over confetti from New Year’s is cleaned up (well, hopefully), doesn’t mean you can’t incorporate a little bit into your winter. I love the simple detail of adding little flecks of gold, or any metallic for that matter, into your day. A little sparkle goes a long way and really warms up those chilly months ahead!

Inspiration from Anywhere… Sparkle and Feather

Go ahead. Overdo it. It’s the last night of 2011 so you might as well live it up in style, right? Who says you can’t wear a little sparkle and some feathers in your hair? It’s a night of celebration so I say you can never have too much fun with your outfit. Add some sparkle and whimsical feathers to your attire to set the tone for the new year!
