With all this warm Spring weather lately, I’ve been starting to look ahead to the Summer months coming down the road and all the beautiful color palettes I usually see with summer weddings. One of my favorites is a gorgeous palette of blues, filled with Navy, Periwinkle, and Baby Blue. Layering on several different shades of one color really adds depth and visual interest to your decor, attire, and wedding details!

Living in the northeast means it is not uncommon to see a little snowflake in Spring now and again. I think we’ve had our share of that white stuff this year and am so ready to officially welcome Spring to our neck of the woods. The tulip bulbs are out, the birds sound extra cheerful, and the fresh smells of Spring are everywhere. If you’re anything like me, you’ve been picking up a bouquet of tulips each time you’re at the grocery store or local market. I just can’t get enough of Spring flowers and they instantly add that pop of beauty to any room!

I’m going to go ahead and give you the best piece of advice I can: Dip dye something. Right now. Dip dye those plain cloth napkins you’ve been trying to get rid of or dip dye an old basket that needs a face lift. I love the idea of dip dying favor bags (think muslin!) to add a pop of color to your favor table at your wedding. And don’t forget those Easter eggs this weekend! If you want to add a fun little twist to your eggs, dip dye to your heart’s content! Phew, I think I said “dip dye” enough – you get the point!
