Coffee Talk Monday… Stay TRUE to you

I am in the middle of a home office redesign. I felt like I needed a change and wanted a space that was inspiring, organized, comfortable and one that I would love to work out of.  Stay tuned for pictures of the finished space!

In my search for fun artwork on Etsy, I discovered a designer that makes the cutest embroidered quotes.  I just couldn’t resist when I found this one, “Stay True to You” thought it was just perfect! I also love the idea of incorporating this detail into a wedding.  Would be perfect for table numbers, or a ring pillow.

Coffee Talk Monday… Destination Exuma

This week we are going to take you on a little journey to one of the best kept secrets in the Caribbean; the island of Great Exuma in the Bahamas.  I was invited by a good friend and industry colleague, Josh Friedman, Elan Artists,  to experience the property of Grand Isle Resort & Spa, for destination weddings, events, and clients looking for the perfect spot to honeymoon/vacation.  I truly was blown away by the beauty of this tropical paradise.  The Villas at Grand Isle Resort are pure luxury, with marble bathrooms, fully appointed gourmet kitchens, granite counter tops, spacious living rooms with access to the terrace, overlooking the most gorgeous turquoise water I have ever seen.  On property is an infinity pool, poolside bar and restaurant, and 24 hour fitness center, although I must admit it is hard to run on the treadmill when the white sands of the beach await, it made running outside in February a pure gift.  The pace of the island and laid back nature of the people put me at ease the minute I stepped off the plane.  It was hard to do anything but relax during our stay at Grand Isle.  I hope you all will have the opportunity to visit this hidden gem and enjoy a week of destination inspiration and our insider’s guide to the island of Exuma!

Coffee Talk Monday… Gloden Globes and Yellow

Yesterday was a great sunday.  Football, an amazing Giants win, and the Golden Globes.  I was excited to see what colors were going to be popular and was surprised at the lack there of.  Neutral was definitely the hot color to dress the red carpet but the ones that stood out to me were the two yellow dresses that just popped.  Definitely two of my favorites.  What were some of yours?

Coffee Talk Monday… Calligraphy

I was recently searching on Etsy for calligraphers and immediately was drawn to the style and whimsy of Kristen Henderson’s calligraphy.  She not only is incredibly talented but is one of the sweetest, most responsive, and organized artists I have worked with in a long time.  With a tight deadline for getting out a recent save the date project she was able to turn them around in less than a week and they were absolutely gorgeous!  I love her work so much I just had to get one of her custom stamps to help me with the return addresses on all of my holiday cards.  I can’t wait til it arrives!!
