We are so excited to announce Katherine and Eric’s wedding was featured on Carats & Cake!! Katherine and Eric’s dream wedding had always involved Saltwater Farm Vineyard. After moving to California, Katherine had always imagined heading back to the East Coast for her big day. Being from New England there was nothing more magical than getting married close to home with family and friends at their side.

True Event worked with Katherine and her mother to incorporate the blue from the bright blue skies and natural tones of the vineyard with tuscan blue linens, touches of silver in the center pieces, set plate and silver flatware. Hana Floral incorporated light touches of garden roses, anemones, thistle and greenery to pick up the aesthetics of the vineyards.

Katherine and Eric chose to say their vows out on the vineyard’s lawn overlooking fields of grapes, as guests enjoyed the sun shine and the beautiful summer day. Once the ceremony was over they headed to the vineyards patio, where Gourmet Galley served artisanal cheeses and signature drinks. Cocktail hour ended and guests moved inside to enjoy each others company and dine on a gourmet meal. After dinner Murray Hill Talent got the party started with their talented band and rocked the night away.

We are so excited to announce Ariel and Ben’s wedding featured on Over the Moon!

Ariel and Ben were married at the historic mansion, Rosecliff, set on the cliffs of Newport, RI. Ariel had always imaged herself getting married at her favorite childhood destination of Palm Beach, but when they found out two of the most important guests were pregnant they decided to keep their wedding a bit more local. The couple being from New York City, thought Newport with its quant charm, and short distance from the city would be the perfect alternative.

The ceremony took place in the mansions salon with the aisle gently candlelit, giving the space a romantic element for the couple to say their i do’s. After the ceremony guests made their way to the mansions elegant stone terrace, boasting with stationary food displays, including a raw bar from McGrath’s Clambakes and an Asian inspired station provided by Blackstone Catering. As guests enjoy their light bites, they sipped on champagne infused with Rosemary as a nod to the mansions 1920’s history.

Stoneblossom worked effortlessly to bring Ariel’s vision for the reception space to life. Tall floral center pieces added dramatic affect to the round guests tables that surrounded the tuscan style head table in the center of the mansion’s ballroom. The wedding party all dined together at the tuscan table with a floral runner down the center of it. Ariel chose to incorporate a modern aspect in to the design of the place setting with the heirloom smoke chargers from Peak. The gold arrezo flatware added an aspect of traditional elegance to the setting, along with light blue hemstitched napkin, found by Ariel herself. Guests hit the dance floor to the ever so talented Stardust Band after they enjoyed a delicious two course meal from Blackstone Catering.

We are so excited to have Megan and Garrett’s wedding featured on Carats and Cake!

We had the pleasure of having, Abby Larson, from Style Me Pretty, shadow us for Megan and Garrett’s big day to get a behind the scenes look at a real wedding from start to finish. We can’t believe it has been almost a year since we worked with some of our favorite vendors in the industry to execute this colorful, bright and truly memorable wedding.

We were so excited to travel to the Cape for Megan and Garrett’s special day. It was one of those dreamy summer days that only New England gets to experience. Megan and Garrett chose Bourne Farm for their big day because of its close proximity to the ocean and its ability to include all of their family and friends. 

The main focus of the day was to include their family and friends into their big day. True event worked closely with the couple to make sure every aspect of the day was focused on their family. Hana Floral Design incorporated the brides love for color with bright and cheery with pops of pinks, reds and blushes.  The blank slate of the tent offered True Event the ability to bring to life the bride’s vision. With touches of gold and blues the tent was designed to be inviting for their guests. True Event used gold arezzo flatware, flora etched stemware and blush pink napkins to incorporate special touches to the decor.

We are so honored to share that Laura and Derek’s wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty

The Bedford Post Inn is one of those idyllic inns that only most dream of getting married at. For Laura and Derek, their dream fall wedding was perfectly nestled at the cozy country side inn. During their tour of the inn they realized this cozy space would be the perfect spot to say their vows. Luckily for Laura and Derek, Bedford Post was just the right size to host their wedding party and family members. The bridal party gathered together on the big day to pamper themselves as they prepared Laura to walk down the aisle.

The design for the evening was classic elegance. Pillar candles and hurricanes, the dining room of the Bedford Post Inn was romantically lit for the intimate evening ahead. Using white linen runners and simple white rim plates, the guests tables set the stage for a simple and elegant reception. Guests dined at gorgeous deep wooden farm tables with contrasting antique crossback chairs.  Hana Floral Design incorporated elegant but simple pops of autumn colors into the evening. 

After a decedent meal from the Bedford Post Inn, guests headed out to the Stamford Tent to witness the couple’s special first dance. To end the evening guests enjoyed homemade chocolate chip cookies baked by Laura herself!
