Today we are switching it up a little bit with some fun spicy Pineapple-Sake Sangria with Jalapeño!   Happy Friday!!

  2. 3/4 cup sugar
  3. 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced crosswise
  4. 4 1/2 cups pineapple juice
  5. One 750-ml bottle dry filtered sake
  6. Ice
  7. Pineapple slices and fresh mint sprigs, for serving
  1.  In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil with the sugar and jalapeño, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Let cool completely, then strain the syrup; discard the jalapeño.
  2.  In a large pitcher, combine the jalapeño syrup, pineapple juice and sake and stir well. Refrigerate until well chilled, about 1 hour. Serve the sangria over ice in tumblers, garnished with pineapple and mint.

Inspiration from Anywhere…Oh So Beautiful Paper DIY!

via Oh So Beautiful Paper

Very rarely can a fake flower or plant capture the same amount of love I have for the real thing. And by very rarely I mean, It’s. Never. Happened. A gorgeous tissue paper flower can totally catch my eye and almost steal my heart but it never does the trick. And then my eyes rested upon this Air Plant DIY from Oh So Beautiful Paper and I could feel myself falling!  These paper air plants are GORGEOUS perfection. There is almost a piece of me that claims to like them even more than the real thing BUT I know that is ludicrous. I NEED to find a way to use these, STAT! Not only are they swoon worthy but this DIY looks as easy as the come.

Tuesday Shoesday…BHLDN!!!

These BHLDN Golden Rose pumps have the Midas touch but that’s not even the coolest thing about them.  The flower is handcrafted  from 24k gold-leaf fabric that’s over 100 years old, and sourced from a couture flower-makers studio in Paris. Anything that has the word “Paris” in it’s description is a style win just by default. Who doesn’t want a little bit of vintage and Paris chic on their wedding day???
