Memorial Day Weekend is Summer’s official kick off! There is an exclamation point at the end of that sentence for a very legitimate reason, the sun and green grass are here to stay for a while after what felt like the longest and coldest Winter ever. We are slaves of Sunshine now! If you are a planning a BBQ or small shin dig to celebrate above is a little inspiration to get your started. That refreshment cart is heaven on wheels. Besides being Summer’s kick off, MDW is important for another reason, a greater reason, it’s when we give thanks to those we have lost while serving our country. I can’t think of a greater or more honorable sacrifice. So from all of us at True Event, thank you.
P.S. No holiday is complete with out a DIY. This Memorial Day write a letter to a man or woman in service and let them know exactly what they mean to you.
We live in an age that if there isn’t photo evidence of something, it didn’t happen. Weddings are no different. In fact my advice to most brides is to budget the most for your photographer because they are in charge of capturing your day that is so fleeting you’ll need the photographs to relive it all and you’ll want to. Glitter Guide made a list of the “5 Tips For Taking Better Wedding Photos” that is a must read for any bride. These tips outline how to relax and make the most of the time you have with your professional photographer. So take a peek and get ready for some swoon worthy photos.
Brides, stop everything, i’ve found your something blue. These Jeanette heels by Kate Spade don’t only fit the bill but they blow the “something blue” bill to pieces with their amazingness. I’ll always be a lover of navy but I’m a fanatic over navy sparkle! Kate Spade hit the glitzy nail on the head when she designed these. I better see some amazing 2015 wedding shoe portrait shots of these ladies in the coming year.
