Tuesday Shoesday…Kate Spade!

Kate Spade with a side of edge is exactly how I would describe these nude leather pumps with gold embellishments bedazzling them. The Lia heels are pretty fabulous and just enough edge for the girl who hardly takes a walk on the wild side. I would love these worn with cuffed jeans and a simple tee. Basically you’re going to look like a rockstar. These also come in black if you are a little more rock and roll then the typical Kate Spade girl.

Friday Wine Tasting…Josh Cellars Merlot 2011!

Josh Cellars Merlot 2011

$12.99

Winemaker’s Notes

Aromas of black cherries, fresh plums, violet and dark chocolate overwhelm the bouquet. On the palate, the wine is layered with fresh bing cherries, baked plums, and mocha, softened by its delicate, almost luxurious texture, and given staying power with a long, raspberry and cocoa powder finish.

I think the secret to success is a gorgeous agenda.  I live for seeing what the newest agendas look like every year and always buy at least three over the year. My problem is I love them so much I’m scared to use them and scuff them up.  This year I promised I’m going to try harder, I already know which one I love the most and am eagerly awaiting it’s arrival. The only thing better than a new years agenda, is a 17 month one that you can start using in the current year, there’s no waiting for January 1st to crack that baby open. What’s your pick????

Wedding Wednesday…Creative Wedding Signage!

signage

One of my favorite details to design for a wedding is creative signage. Sometimes it just adds a little extra to use a different medium than paper or to come up with something super cheeky. One time I literally hand embroidered the term “Happy Tears” on a hanky for a vintage hanky display at a wedding. I’d never done it before so whether it was good or not is up for discussion but still it just added a little more interest and detail. Have fun with your signage, believe me your guests will notice and you’ll love your photos of it!
